This showing is located between upper Sulphurets Glacier and Ted Morris Glacier within a north trending band of true phyllites. These phyllites were developed from pelites and tuffs now believed correlative with rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Metamorphism is believed to be Cretaceous. The genesis and limits of this belt are unknown (Fieldwork 1987, p. 205).

A quartz vein hosts pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. Another quartz vein, 350 metres southwest, hosts pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite (Open File 1988-4; Newmont Map).
